Not Your Lola's presents: Kamayan (Eating with Your Hands) Friday February 21st
Chef Randall Braud of Dallas, made his first Shreveport appearance at the Louisiana Food Prize in 2019, and is now back with Not Your Lola’s to put on a unique dining experience.
Kamayan, which translates to (with hands), is a traditional Filipino way of eating a family style meal with your hands. We could say more, but we'd rather have you experience it first hand! (see what what we did there?) We will open with appetizers and a complimentary cocktail (21+) at 7 pm.
Scallop Kinilaw- bay scallop/green mango/coconut milk/preserved calamansi
Longanisa Boudin Balls- sweet and garlicky boudin croquettes
Crispy Pata- pork shank braised and then fried to crispy perfection
